Team Building, Cognitive Change and Personal Development Group Programmes
Our group programmes are designed to engage with your staff to create a strategy that will deliver consistent results with targets and individual goals.
Throughout the programmes participants are required to keep a record of their achievements and progress for their own development. Working in between the training sessions, as individuals, they will develop a clear understanding of the importance of their roles within the team/organisation they work, as well as personal ambition. Participants develop support strategies to ensure continuation of their development after the training.
Our team building, cognitive change and personal development programmes can be run as six, two-hour sessions, either weekly or fortnightly, or alternatively as a two day intensive programme. Where there are logistical issues we can run the programmes to suit the needs of your organisation and are able to offer them on evenings and weekends.
You have the option of including a pre and post-programme one-to-one session with each participant on the programme. These sessions will determine what each individual wants to gain from the programme for their own personal development. These one-to-one sessions can also be held with their Line Manager, if preferred, as part of their ongoing personal development plan.*
We will profile each participant before and after the programme to ensure that the programme delivers what it is they require and also provide feedback after the programme and guidance with next steps for their individual development goals.
The programme includes all materials, workbooks and relaxation CD.
They are suitable for staff at all levels of their career development from lower level to senior management.
With all our training programmes there are opportunities to include activity days to help build confidence and increase motivation of the group. Details are attached at the end of this document.
Due to the nature of the programmes, once the group has met for the first session no further participants are allowed to join. This type of group bond very quickly and share information between them, so someone new joining can have a negative effect.
*Please note – due to the nature of the Cognitive Change Programme there is not an option to conduct it without pre and post one to ones.

Team Building
Groups (8-12 people)
Participants will look at the barriers to success and begin the process of change management and team building by looking at personal skills, achievements and motivation.
A high-performing team is able to harness its collective efforts to achieve the team goals. In our team building programme we explore team dynamics, the different contribution each individual makes to the team and ways to fast-track the team's journey to exceptional performance. This programme uses highly practical and relevant exercises to develop the team and individuals within it.
Strong organisational support, high levels of leadership competence, team coaching, clear objectives and good communication are crucial to the success of teams and this programme will look at these factors.
The programme can be tailor made to meet your specific requirements and the outcomes you want for your team.

Leadership and/or Personal Development
Groups (8-12 people)
This group programme is suitable for individuals from different areas of your business, not just those who work together as a team.
Participants will look at the barriers to success and begin the process of change management, personal development and leadership by looking at personal skills, achievements and motivation.
This programme is suitable for individuals looking at all aspects of their personal development, including developing their leadership skills and ability to exploit new business opportunities and strategic priorities.
The programme can be tailor made to meet your specific requirements, whether that is leadership skills, change management, personal impact skills, influencing skills, coaching skills etc.
The programme can focus on one particular development area, such as leadership, or all general personal development goals, such as those listed above, can be included. We will construct the programme based on your specific requirements and the outcomes you require.

Cognitive Change Programme
Groups (8-12 people)
The main concept of this programme is to empower individuals to be honest with themselves about their own self-limited beliefs, while creating an action plan to stabilise their lives. Participants will be expected to engage fully with all the activities within the programme.
The whole process of change involves a number of stages individuals have to go through to ensure lasting and positive change. The outcome, for most, is they find clarity of focus on what they are trying to achieve. Where an individual is living in a chaotic lifestyle it is very difficult to find a starting point of change, as they often find themselves in survival mode.
The programme allows the individual to take some time to reflect on past experiences and to project forward. The group support each other without judgment, justification or negative emotions about the changes they may face. They can then look, with honesty, integrity and positive emotion, at where they want to be. Individuals then find themselves setting and hitting targets in all areas of their lives.
Habits, career performance, relationships, health and fitness are some of the areas that start to improve. Ongoing support after the programme empowers individuals to continue their own personal development. As goals are achieved, new ones are made.
Activities are delivered that allow the group to bond in a like-minded direction. Individuals complete tasks they may have never done before which builds their confidence and determination to continued personal development.
The programme will start with individual one to one sessions along with a member of staff, to establish an introduction to the programme. One to one sessions will also be held several weeks after the group sessions have ended.

Mentoring Programme
Groups (6-12 people)
Mentoring has been recognised for many years as a way of helping to support individuals who are striving to be successful within any given activity. The primary objective of this programme is to give an opportunity to share skills, knowledge and experience.
Mentoring is continually being adopted by a diverse range of organisations and community groups to give levels of quality in the support, training and services they provide to staff, clients and community members.
Beyond the Mask Mentoring offers a one day programme where participants will learn a practice that continues their own development, as well as having a tangible process to support others and empower them to identify goals, targets and motivation.
The programme looks at the structure of mentoring and the different stages of developing a clear and concise relationship. Communication forms a major role in the mentoring process and participants are given the opportunity to explore the different ways we communicate and how to use this knowledge to enhance the process of support.
Our mentoring programmes are designed and delivered to suit the organisation and the outcomes required. They are normally delivered as a one day intensive programme, however this is flexible to meet your needs.

One to one’s
Middle/lower management/Team leaders
This programme provides one to one support for middle/lower management and team leaders.Success is accomplished by Managers and Team Leaders who are motivated as individuals to be their best, effectively delivering whilst supporting other team members to achieve targets and goals.
People in these groups are pivotal to the success of your organisation and often need individual support to help them personally in delivering their role effectively and with their leadership skills and personal development.We can offer individual support for a range of specific requirements, from stress management to career management, leadership skills to coaching and motivation skills.
Sessions can be arranged in either your office or in our recently refurbished office in Newcastle under Lyme.

One to one’s
Executive, Directors and Senior Manager
This programme is designed to support Executive and Senior Management on a one to one basis. This programme enables individuals to look at their whole life, including their career. This process will enable you to be the best and most effective leader you can be and really drill down into your life and career aspirations to provide a structured path to achieving the ‘whole’ life and career you want.
Working at senior and executive level usually involves huge workloads and often no time to explore issues in depth. At this level the number of people within the organisation you can talk to openly and without judgment dramatically falls, as issues are often too sensitive. Often you need to reflect on key questions about future direction, your own career path and work/life balance and how your leadership translates into an action plan to become more effective.
During the programme you will define your goals, which will be clear and achievable and you will set a path to reach them. This programme looks at all aspects including stress management/work-life balance/career aspirations/ambitions etc.

African Drumming. Planet Sound
Working with African master drummers and musicians who specialise in varying forms of music, Planet Sound work with groups to create and record original pieces of music. Working with groups that have either no, or limited experience playing instruments, is no barrier to this exciting opportunity to bring together groups of individuals in this team and confidence building activity.

Music technology & MC rap
Experience the creation of making your own music track with top producer Paul Rogerson and top MC/rap artist Justin "Sweeze" Baker. Throughout the day participants will create music and a song totally from scratch, using a variety of technology including samplers, computers and mixing desks. The final result will be professionally recorded to CD and given to all participants.
